As Clive Cox plans Another step for his Solario Stakes winner group One and Two options at Newmarket Have Been from the equation for Positive.
Powerful on his racecourse debut at Salisbury, the son of Dutch Art finished second supporting celebrity juvenile Pinatubo from the Group Two Vintage Stakes at Goodwood.
The two-year-old rediscovered the winning trail at a Group Three in Sandown getting the better of Andrew Balding’s Kameko by just a nose.
Cox is in no hurry to commit to Positive objective, however, the Juddmonte Royal Lodge Stakes and Darley Dewhurst Stakes are both under consideration.
“We were quite pleased with the win at Sandown, and he’s come out of the race ” stated the Lambourn-based coach.
“He has an entry for your Dewhurst and also the Royal Lodge, thus we’ll essentially keep moving ahead and keep an open mind.
“He’s progressing well, and we’re happy that he seems to get a great deal of scope to improve.”
