Ted Cheeseman claims he was composed”too early” after a two-fight winless streak – and believes his experience will probably be too much for Scott Fitzgerald.

Before Lewis Ritson vs Robbie Davies Jr in Newcastle on Saturday at 7pm dwell on Sky Sports Action cheeseman’s British name defence against Fitzgerald comes.
Cheeseman’s unbeaten record has been ended by Sergio Garcia at a name challenge thenhe brought with Kieron Conway.
Asked if he was now being discounted, Cheeseman told Sky Sports:”Well too premature.
“‘Ted Cheeseman gets hit a lot?’
“The only time that I have hit was against Sergio Garcia, because I put my face out there to get hit. From the Kieron Conway fight I had been against a lump that is 6ft – if I did not come forward he would have picked me off, and I still think that I did enough to win.
“Apart from the operation from Garcia, what have I done wrong?
“He was world No 2 and can find a world title shot. Give me a chance. I am still winner. I want the critics to provide me the credit that I deserve.”
Cheeseman insisted that he stays good enough to end Fitzgerald’s unbeaten record. He said:”I’d like my very best performance as a professional, I’m emotionally at my best state that I’ve been in for some time.
“He’s a fantastic box-fighter, he can do everything well. Expertise will depend mainly because we are both fighters. When encounter comes into it, I’ve got more”
Fitzgerald is coming from a triumph over Anthony Fowler and cautioned that he can knock out Cheeseman.
“He is a good champion,” Fitzgerald explained. “Garcia did a job on him but maybe Ted had the incorrect mind-set. I believed Ted won [from Conway].
“I have great power and wouldn’t want to be at the end of my shots. I expect he’s been operating on his head movement.”
