Eddie Lynam excited as Soffia hunts Group One glory

Trainer Eddie Lynam is counting the Days down Before Soffia’s bid for Group One glory at the Derrinstown Stud Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh.

Even the filly has won her last three starts – completing her hat-trick using a display in the Stakes over the Flying Five class and space in July.
Lynam resisted the urge to ship the four-year-old across the Irish Sea for last month’s Nunthorpe Stakes and will be anticipating seeing her test her powers at the maximum level for the very first time on Sunday week.
“Soffia is in good shape. It has been a drag waiting and we’ve been ticking off the weeks, but she is in great form and we are anticipating running ,” said the Dunshaughlin-based trainer.
“She keeps surprising us and let us hope she is able to surprise us .”
