“I knew there were rules changes. I just didn’t know them. Just simple and plain. My stupidity for not going more than the rules varies.
“I wasn’t upset, I was not upset. I was like,’that’s going to bring a ton to my scores’. At that point what can you do?”
Later he was supposedly lined up by his caddie on the green during the final round of the Dubai Desert Classic Back in January, China’s Haotong Li was penalised two shots.
Englishman Paul Casey stopped being penalised if a putt in a championship he won with one shot in Germany went upwards of a bug along the manner in.
As the ball of Casey accidentally went across the insect he’d not need to retake the shot.
