Christian Fassnacht strike observed Young Boys beat Rangers 2-1 in the Europa League in their Group G meeting.
The visitors opened the scoring a minute before the break due to Alfredo Morelos’ 14th goal in only 13 starts this season, taking his tally into some 62 strikes in just 109 matches to the club.
Steven Gerrard’s staff were pegged past five minutes into the second half as a result of Roger Assale’s close-range finish, until Fassnacht took advantage of James Tavernier’s error to win it together with the final kick of the game.
As a result Rangers drop following the defeat at Feyenoord of Porto.
